School Events

At MAIS, school events are considered an integral part of our educational program.
Rather than focusing on large-scale performances or formal ceremonies, we value activities that are meaningfully connected to daily learning and that allow students to participate comfortably and confidently.

For each unit of study, we plan developmentally appropriate experiences aligned with our educational goals. These may include inquiry presentations, seasonal activities, and experiential learning opportunities outside the classroom.

All events are carefully designed to ensure that students feel safe and supported, and that each child has the opportunity to experience a sense of accomplishment.

Examples:
・ Visiting a local taiyaki shop during a unit on traditional sweets (anko)
・ Trying simple cooking activities in the classroom, such as making karaage
・ Participating in local community festivals
